Before you start, let’s make sure you have the tools and resources you need to succeed.

This tool helps you to self-assess if you’re ready to begin your course. If you answer ‘no’ to any of the questions, we’ll give you some advice on how to get organised.

1- I have access to a desktop or laptop computer.

If you won’t have regular access to a desktop or laptop computer by the time your course begins, call our enrolments team on 0800 328 269. It may be a good idea to delay your course start date to give you time to sort this out.

2. I have a comfortable, well-lit place to study.

3. I have logged in to the portal using the username and login details sent to me by email.

4. I have checked my course description to make sure I have fulfilled the technical requirements.

7. I know how to access Office 365 and set up my Outlook inbox.

8. If I have applied for a student loan/student allowance, it will processed before the course start date.

That’s great – and remember there’s plenty of support available if you’re ever feeling stressed or overwhelmed.
