You may be learning online, but you’re not learning alone!

On this page, you’ll find some information about how your crew can support your taha whānau, or family and social wellbeing, as an online learner.

Your Facilitator

Your course facilitator will track your progress within your course. They will help you to access and understand course materials, answer course-related questions, give you feedback on your assessments, and help you access additional resources and services if you need some extra help or support. It's really important that you keep in touch with your facilitator, and check for messages from them regularly (including their course announcements on the Course Home Page!)

The Student Advisor Team

The student advisor team will support you as your progress through your course, helping you to find solutions and stay on track. They can give you advice on study skills and time-management, share useful resources, and refer you to specialist support if you need it. It's really important that you keep in touch with the student advisor team, and check for messages from them regularly.

IT Support

Our IT Support team are available if you encounter technical issues when using the eCampus NZ portal. Find out more on the IT Support and Online Tools page.

Your Support/Tō Tautoko

You’ll find plenty of resources right here, from resources on academic writing to instructional videos on how to use the eCampus NZ portal. Spend some time exploring these pages and bookmark any you’ll find useful as you progress through your learning journey.

Your Enrolling Institute

You may be studying online, but you can still stay connected to your enrolling institute. All learners using eCampus NZ can access the student support and library services of their enrolling institute. You’ll find contact details for your institute under My Contacts on your learner dashboard. Support services provided include specialist learning support, counselling, Māori and Pasifika student support and referrals to community and government agencies. Note that for course-related questions, please contact your facilitator. Find out more on the Getting Support page or get in touch with the student advisor team for more information.

Your Classmates

The eCampus NZ portal is a social learning environment. There are a plenty of ways for you to interact and collaborate with your classmates, facilitator and the student advisor team. Please introduce yourself to others at the start of the course and look for opportunities in the online forums to chat with and work with other learners. All questions are welcome!
