SUBMITTING AND RESUBMITTING ASSESSMENTS

How can we help you learn?

Submitting Assessments

Uploading an assignment requires submitting single or multiple files, and sometimes OneNote pages.

Follow these step-by step instructions to upload files to your assignment dropbox:

Step 1: In your course, go to Assessments and select the assignment dropbox from the right-hand menu

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Add submission

Step 3: Drag and drop your files into the drop area.

Step 4: OR select Add files from the File picker window, select Upload a file, and Choose file.

Step 5: Select the file you want to upload from your computer and select Upload this file.

You’ll see the file you have uploaded in the drop area. To upload more files, repeat steps 3/4 to 5.

Please note that you can drag and drop multiple files into the drop area. If you need to make changes before confirming your submission, you can click Edit submission. We recommended using a different version number if you make edits to files and then upload them. Use the same process for re-submitting files if your facilitator asks you to try again.

Step 6: Save changes and scroll to the bottom of the page and select Submit assignment.

Step 7: On the next page, check the box to confirm it’s your own work, then click Continue.

Your assignment files have been submitted to your facilitator.

Resubmitting Assessments

If you are resubmitting work, your facilitator will reopen the assignment dropbox. You can add a document to your submission or delete your existing submission and resubmit.

Keep an eye on the maximum number of files allowed for your submission. If you need to make changes before confirming your submission, you can click Edit submission. The new document will not replace the old one; you must use a version number if you make edits to files and then upload them. Use the same process for re-submitting files if your facilitator asks you to try again.
