Are you feeling tired or unmotivated?

That’s understandable – you’ve probably got a lot going on at the moment. 

Being tired makes it much harder to understand and remember information, so it might be time to shut your laptop, take a break, and get back to your study when you’re feeling better. 

If you find yourself feeling tired or unmotivated frequently, you might want to have a chat to your student advisor. You can work together to figure out how you can balance your study and your other commitments going forward. They can also connect you with other support services. 

Do remember that there’s lots of support available. Check the Getting Support and Physical and Emotional Wellbeing pages for more information. 

If you’re just feeling a little unmotivated today, don’t worry! Everyone feels like that sometimes. Check out our Motivation Strategies page for some techniques to help you get back on track.

Are you feeling stressed or frustrated?

It’s normal to feel stressed at some point in your learning journey – studying isn’t easy. 

Are you feeling this way because you need some help understanding the course content? Get in touch with your facilitator – they’d love to hear from you! If you need an answer right now and your facilitator isn’t online, try connecting with your classmates in the My Conversations section of the portal. You may be able to find the answer together. 

Are you stressed about meeting deadlines and due dates? If there’s still time between now and your deadline, check out the resources Time Management page or get in touch with your student advisor for help with managing your time.  There may also be other options available to you, including assignment extensions. Visit our Applying for an Extension page for more information and make contact with your facilitator or student advisor as soon as possible.
